Accelerator Mass Spectrometry

Welcome to our homepage, The Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS) at KIGAM is devoted to the researches on cosmogenic isotopes analitical techniques of Be-10, C-14 and Al-26. Laboratory is equipped with an Accelerator Mass Spectrometer (1 MV Tandetron).

  • Cosmogenic rare isotope measurements (Be-10, C-14, Al-26)
  • High-precision radiocarbon dating
  • Researches on environmental change
  • Korea calibration curve for C-14 dating (Korea tree-ring data)
